"Most doctors have the Messiah complex. You have the Rubix complex. You need to solve every puzzle!" - Dr. Wilson, HOUSE md.
Have you ever watched those movie scenes where the main characters step out somewhere and the camera spins until coming to a full stop and you just stop and gasp at the beautiful serenity around you?
That may have just been the most cheesiest line I have ever written in existence of this blog, but I assure you, it comes from something very real. It was around nine fifteen at night and I step outside my castle to put into my black Victorian era mailbox a letter containing money for a doujinshi I was ordering. Just as I was walking back from the mailbox, barefoot, on the black ash fault street, I took a moment to just stop and look around. It was absolutely silent, not a single sound although the wind was blowing a slight chill, and the sky was littered with stars that stood out so vividly against the black abyss...it was just surreal. Everything was so beautiful, so perfect, and so unreal.
Absolute silence. That's something very hard to imagine. And when I looked towards my house, I was blown away by how fantastically surreal it looked just standing there in all its massive glory in the middle of no where, in the middle of the desert. (where I do, in fact, live.) The stone covering, the stone pillars standing proudly with beautiful bogenvia vines wrapping around them like drapes, the brilliant red flowers appearing admist the green. How the wraught iron balcony stood out against the pale white curtains...the overwhelming vegetation crowding the fence...
I think I just wrote a love letter to my house.
House/Kristine, forever. (oh me and my retarded fandoms)
and I mean it.
